Concerns Rise As Incarcerated Human Rights Activist Narges Mohammadi’s Health Deteriorates Behind Bars

May 10th, 2012 – Taghi Rahmani, the husband of incarcerated human rights activist Narges Mohammadi has informed BBC Farsi that in a brief telephone conversation with her family, Mohammadi informed them of the recurrence of her paralysis.  According to Rahmani, after speaking to her children, Mohammadi spoke with her mother-in-law, informing her that on the evening of Sunday May 6th, 2012 she became dizzy, falling to the ground several times and on one occasion even banged her head on the floor.

Rahmani stated that Mohammadi who began serving her prison sentence at Evin two weeks ago, has once again been interrogated.  Rahmani who himself currently lives abroad claimed that Mohammadi’s latest interrogation is nothing but a pressure tactic and no different than ”hostage taking”.

Rahimi added that his wife suffered from neurological shock in the aftermath of the 2009 mass arrests and it took months of treatment in order to cure her from her paralysis.  This latest arrest and interrogation process has led to the recurrence of her condition.

Mohammadi Deputy Director and spokeswoman for the Defenders of Human Rights Center and Chairperson to the Executive Board of the National Peace Council was arrested by security agents on Saturday April 21st 2012 at her father’s house in Zanjan and transferred to Evin prison in Tehran.

In May 2009, Mohammadi was summoned to the 4th branch of the Revolutionary Court as a result of her membership in the Defenders of Human Rights Center (DHRC).  After defending her case in court she was released on 40,000 USD bail. She was once again arrested by security agents at her residence in the middle of the night on June 9th of the same year and released after one month in prison.

Those close to Mohammadi report her physical condition as alarming and Rahmani has also expressed concern regarding their two young twins that have been forced to live without their mother.

چکیده :خانم محمدی در تماسی با خانه پس از گفت و گو با فرزندانش با مادر آقای رحمانی صحبت کرده و گفته است که یکشنبه شب (۱۷ اردیبهشت) “چندین بار حالش بهم خورده و به زمین افتاده است و یک بار نیز سرش با زمین برخورد کرده است.”…

تقی رحمانی، همسر نرگس محمدی، فعال حقوق بشر که در زندان به سر می برد، می گوید که همسرش در تماس تلفنی با خانواده اش از بازگشت بیماری عصبی و فلج عضلانی اش خبر داده است.

رحمانی در گفت و گویی با بی بی سی گفته است که خانم محمدی در تماسی با خانه پس از گفت و گو با فرزندانش با مادر آقای رحمانی صحبت کرده و گفته است که یکشنبه شب (۱۷ اردیبهشت) “چندین بار حالش بهم خورده و به زمین افتاده است و یک بار نیز سرش با زمین برخورد کرده است.”

به گفته آقای رحمانی خانم محمدی که برای اجرای حکمش از حدود دو هفته پیش در زندان به سر می برد، دوباره تحت بازجویی قرار گرفته است

آقای رحمانی که اکنون در خارج از ایران به سر می برد، گفت که خانم محمدی را برای زیر فشار قرار دادن او دوباره بازجویی کرده اند که به گفته او مصداق “گروگانگیری” است

.

آقای رحمانی گفت که همسرش در جریان بازداشتش در سال ۱۳۸۹ دچار شوک عصبی شده بود که ماه ها طول کشید مداوا شود و حالا به گفته او با بازداشت و بازجویی مجدد او، دوباره دچار این بیماری شده است.

دادگاه انقلاب، خانم محمدی را به اتهام “تبلیغ علیه نظام جمهوری اسلامی” و “اجماع و تبانی علیه امنیت ملی” ابتدا به یازده سال و سپش در دادگاه تجدید نظر به ۶ سال زندان محکوم کرد.

نرگس محمدی، نایب رئیس کانون مدافعان حقوق بشر و رئیس هیئت اجرایی شورای ملی صلح که به گفته اطرافیانش “وضعیت جسمی نگران‌کننده‌ای” دارد، روز شنبه، دوم اردیبهشت، توسط ماموران امنیتی در خانه پدری اش در زنجان بازداشت شد و به زندان اوین در تهران منتقل شد.

او در اردیبهشت سال ۱۳۸۹به دلیل عضویت در کانون مدافعان حقوق بشر به شعبه ۴ دادگاه انقلاب احضار و پس از چند جلسه دفاع برای وی قرار وثیقه ۵۰ میلیون تومانی صادر شد؛ اما در تاریخ ۲۰ خردادماه سال همان سال توسط مأموران امنیتی، شبانه و در منزل خود بازداشت شد و بعد از گذشت یک ماه آزاد شد.

آقای رحمانی پیشتر درباره دو فرزند خردسالش گفته بود که وضعیت آنها مناسب نیست و اعضای خانواده از آنها نگهداری می‌کنند.

The Harsh Realities of Visitations From Behind A Cabin Window – By Journalist Jila Baniyhagoob

Monday April 16th, 2012 – [Jila Baniyaghoob] Monday is once again upon us, bringing with it visitation day for political prisoners at Evin prison.  It is time to once again visit our loved ones  from behind a cabin window… but this time because of the lack of space some of us had to sit behind cabin windows with bars.  As if the thick double pane glass was not bad enough, we now had to contend with metal bars

The atmosphere is distressing and uncomfortable. Atefeh says that she had not been granted a face to face visitation with her family for more than six months. Farzaneh describes how painful it is to visit with loved ones from behind a cabin window.

The truth is the atmosphere in the visitation room is always somewhat depressing. The opaque, double pane windows and thick metal bars, the telephones with the unbearable static noise that make is so difficult for one to hear ones loved one, and let us not forget the button on the damn phone that the prisoner is constantly forced to press down when speaking – the damn thing is so hard that their fingers get tired and their voices are often cut off.  They say the button is designed to facilitate the conversation. What a cryptic telecom system! Could they not have designed something that does not involve a button that the prisoner is forced to press on during the entire duration of the conversation?

The visitation room is very poorly lit, creating a dark and bleak atmosphere. There are not enough chairs for the prisoners and their family members to sit on and as a result each time many are forced to stand during the entire duration of their visit.  We have complained to the prison officials on numerous occasions regarding the lack of chairs. How much can it cost to supply the prisoners and their families with second hand, plastic chairs?

The atmosphere in the visitation room is tormenting. The filthy chairs look as though they have not been washed in years.  This week I spoke with the prison official and asked that we be allowed to bring cleaning material to clean the chairs ourselves.   Atefeh says that the condition of the visitation room is an insult to human dignity.

Our visitation ends and Atefeh says referring to the prisoners: “They seemed so down today…  “.

I was in the midst of a conversation with Bahman when the damn curtain dropped and the telephone went dead. It has been this way for ever. So many half finished sentences. So many thoughts left unsaid until the next visitation when the curtain will once again cut you off in mid sentence.  Every time the curtain drops, it seems as though you forget what it is that you were about to say….

Before the curtain dropped, I placed my hand on the double pane window and Bahman placed his on the other side right across from mine…

این یعنی ملاقات کابینی

باز هم دوشنبه، باز هم روز ملاقات زندانیان سیاسی در اوین، روز ملاقات کابینی …و این بار به دلیل کمبود جا عده ای از ما را مجبور کردند که پشت کابین‌هایی بنشینیم که میله های آهنی داشت، یعنی آن شیشه های قطور دو جداره کم بود این میله‌ها هم اضافه شد.

فضای ملاقات تلخ بود، عاطفه می‌گفت شش ماه هست ملاقات حضوری نداشته، فرزانه می‌گفت که چقدر ملاقات از پشت این میله‌ها آزار دهنده تر است.

اصلاً، می‌دانید، یک جورهایی فضای سالن ملاقات تلخ است، با آن شیشه های دو جداره ی کدر، با آن میله های کلفت فلزی، با آن تلفن‌هایی که خش خش می‌کنند و تو باید صدای عزیزت را از آن پشت بشنوی…و آن شاسی لعنتی روی گوشی تلفن که زندانی موقع مکالمه باید مدام با انگشتش روی آن فشار بدهد و گاهی از خستگی شدید انگشت که کنار می‌رود صدایش قطع می‌شود. می‌گویند این شاسی‌ها مربوط به شنود تلفن است، باید سیستم عقب مانده ای باشد این جور شنود …یعنی نمی‌توانند سیستمی طراحی کنند که زندانی مجبور نباشد در تمام زمان مکالمه دستش را روی این دکمه فشار بدهد.

فضای سالن ملاقات نور کم دارد، یک جور تاریکی غم افزا دارد، صندلی‌ها برای نشستن خانواده‌ها و زندانی‌ها کم است و هر بار تعدادی مجبورند در تمام طول ملاقات بایستند. چند بار به مسوولان اعتراض کرده‌ایم که چرا تعداد لازم و کافی صندلی در سالن

ملاقات نیست، مگر هزینه خرید این صندلی‌های دست دوم پلاستیکی چقدر است؟

فضای سالن ملاقات دل آزار است، با آن صندلی‌های کثیف که انگار سال‌ها شسته نشده است. این هفته به مسوول سالن ملاقات گفتم اجازه بدهید که خودمان وسایل شوینده بیاوریم که این صندلی‌ها را بشوییم.

عاطفه می‌گوید:وضعیت این سالن ملاقات، کرامت انسانی را خدشه دار می‌کند.

ملاقات تمام می‌شود و عاطفه می‌گوید: چقدر رفتنشان امروز تلخ‌تر از همیشه بود.

رفتن زندانی‌ها را می‌گوید.

هنوز داشتم با بهمن حرف می‌زدم که پرده لعنتی پایین آمد و صدای تلفن قطع شد، مدت‌هاست که همین طور است و جمله‌ات نیمه تمام می‌ماند و تا ملاقات بعدی یادت می‌رود که آن پرده کجای جمله‌ات را قطع کرد که دوباره ادامه‌اش بدهی، اصلاً همین که پرده پایین می‌افتد همان موقع یادت می‌رود چه داشتی می‌گفتی…

قبل از اینکه پرده پایین بیاید، دستم را روی شیشه ی دو جداره گذاشتم و بهمن هم از آن سو، از پشت دو شیشه قطور درست دستش را گذاشت همان جایی که من دستم را گذاشته بودم.

این یعنی ملاقات کابینی

War Veteran Mohmmad Reza Motamednia Transferred to Solitary Confinement Amidst Roars of “Ya Hossein, Mir Hossein”!

April 16th, 2012 – [Kaleme] According to reports from Evin prison, war veteran and adviser to martyr rajai,  Bahonar and Mir Hossein Mousavi has been transferred from the general ward at Evin prison into solitary confinement.

Despite his deteriorating physical condition, Motamednia who launched a hunger strike on Monday April 9th, 2012  protesting the continued illegal house arrest of Mir Hossein Mousavi, Zahra Rahnavard and Mehdi Karroubi was reportedly transferred to solitary confinement at Evin’s ward 240 on the afternoon of Sunday April 15th on orders of prison officials. 

As per the same reports, following the announcement on the prison loud speakers regarding Motamednia’s transfer to solitary confinement, the other political prisoners formed a circle around him and began singing “Yareh Dabestani Man” [My childhood schoolmate] and “Ey Iran” [a popular Iranian anthem].

Motamednia, adviser to martyr Rajai and opposition leader Mir Hossein Mousavi reportedly knelt in front of the other prisoners, kissed the prison floor and asked his merciful God to remove all injustice and the ruthless and unjust from his beloved land – and while he was being escorted out of Evin prison’s ward 350, his prison mates were heard emotionally chanting: “Ya Hossein… Mir Hossein…”!

It is worth mentioning that Motamednia has lost sensation in the fingers of his right hand since the launch of his hunger strike. 

Motamednia was arrested during the aftermath of the rigged presidential elections on June 29th, 2009 and held in solitary confinement for two months prior to being released on bail. He was later sentenced to one year prison by the 26th branch of the Revolutionary Court presided by Judge Pir Abassi on charges of propaganda against the regime and transferred to Evin prison on August 12th, 2011 in order to begin serving his prison sentence.

While incarcerated at Evin’s Ward 2A [under the supervision of the IRGC], Motamednia developed gum disease and injuries to his spinal cord as a result of the excessive pressures and poor prison conditions.  He has suffered from repeated bleeding of the gums as a result of severe Periodontitis and the prison doctors have even recommended that he be treated at a facility outside of Evin prison.   Despite his deteriorating health, Motamednia, a member of Mir Hossein Mousavi’s electoral campaign is continuing his hunger strike at Evin’s ward 240 and has announced that he will continue until the illegal house arrest of the leaders of the Green movement has been lifted.

This is not the first time that a political prison on hunger strike has been transferred to solitary confinement with the goal to break down their resistance. In fact this type of reaction has become common place at Evin.

چکیده : پس از پخش نام معتمدنیا از بلندگوی بند٣۵٠ و اعلام انتقال تنبیهی و انضباطی وی به سلول انفرادی، دیگر زندانیان سیاسی اطراف وی حلقه زدند و یکصدا شروع به خواندن سرودهای یار دبستانی و ای ایران کردند. مشاور شهید رجایی و مهندس موسوی نیز هنگام ترک سالن بند ٣۵٠ جلوی پای زندانیانی که برای بدرقه وی آمده بودند، سجده کرد و در حالی که زمین زندان را می بوسید، از پروردگار خویش خواست تا بساط ظلم و ظالم را از این سرزمین برچیند. همبندیان وی نیز در فضایی عاطفی، با شعار “یا حسین میرحسین” او را بدرقه…

مسئولان زندان اوین، روز گذشته محمدرضا معتمدنیا را از بند٣۵٠ خارج و به سلول انفرادی منتقل کردند.

به گزارش خبرنگار کلمه، این زندانی سیاسی بند٣۵٠ که در اعتراض به ادامه حبس میرحسین موسوی، زهرا رهنورد و مهدی کروبی از تاریخ ٩١/١/٢١ اعتصاب غذا کرده بود، بعد از ظهر یکشنبه ٢٧ فروردین در شرایطی که شدت ضعف ناشی از اعتصاب در چهره اش نمایان بود، با دستور مسئولان زندان اوین به سلول انفرادی بند٢۴٠ منتقل شد.

محمدرضا معتمدنیا، که مشاور اجرایی فرماندهی ستادکل قوا و از مسئولان پشتیبانی جنگ در دوران دفاع مقدس و نماینده ویژه شهید رجایی، باهنر و مهندس میرحسین موسوی در بخش صنعت و معدن بوده، در حالی به دنبال اعتصاب غذا به سلول انفرادی منتقل شده است که انگشتان دست راستش به دلیلی نامشخص بی حس و فلج شده است.

وی در جریان حوادث پس از انتخابات ریاست جمهوری سال ٨٨ در تاریخ ٨ تیرماه توسط اطلاعات سپاه احضار و بازداشت شد و پس از دو ماه انفرادی با قرار وثیقه آزاد شد. وی در شعبه ٢۶ دادگاه انقلاب تهران توسط قاضی پیرعباسی به اتهام تبلیغ علیه نظام محکوم و در تاریخ ٢١ مرداد ماه ٩٠ برای سپری کردن دوران محکومیتش روانه زندان اوین شد.

آقای معتمدنیا به دلیل فشارهای روحی و شرایط نامناسب دوران بازداشت در بند ٢الف سپاه به بیماری لثه و آسیب های نخاعی دچار شده است. لثه او بر اثر عفونت شدید دچار خون‌ریزی های مکرر شده است، تا جایی که پزشکان زندان عنوان کرده اند درمان وی باید در خارج از زندان انجام شود. با این حال این عضو ستاد میرحسین موسوی هم اکنون در سلول انفرادی بند ٢۴٠ زندان اوین به اعتصاب غذای خود ادامه می‌دهد و اعلام کرده که تا شکسته شدن حصر و حبس رهبران جنبش سبز مقاومت خواهد کرد.

این اولین بار نیست که زندانیانی که دست به اعتصاب غذا می‌زنند، برای اعمال فشار بر آنها جهت دست کشیدن از اقدامشان، به سلول انفرادی منتقل می‌شوند؛ تا جایی که این به یک رویه در رفتار مسئولان زندان‌ها بدل شده است

Incarcerated War Veteran Mohammad Reza Motamednia Vows to Continue Hunger Strike Until Mir Hossein Mousavi is Freed

April 9th, 2012 – [Kaleme] In a statement from Evin prison and protesting against the injustices, cruelty, cowardice, continued pressure and the unfair treatment by the ruling government of Iran of those who were martyrs of the Islamic Revolution and in recognition, respect and gratitude towards Iran’s national and religious beliefs,  Mohammad Reza Motamednia announced that he will begin a wet hunger strike as of Monday April 9th, 2012 and until such time that the Prime Minister of the Imam [Khomeini] [Mir Hossein Mousavi] is released from illegal house arrest.

In his statement issued from Evin prison Motamednia former adviser to the Chief of Staff, one of the supporters of the eight year holy war against Iraq and special  representative to Bahonar and Mir Hossein Mousavi in the mining industry emphasized: “During the next 45 days, in the event that my demands are not met,  I will only consume water from sunset until early morning prayer”

It is worth mentioning that Motamednia also launched a hunger strike in February of last year but put an end to that hunger strike when his demands were finally met.  Motamednia was arrested during the aftermath of the rigged presidential elections on June 29th, 2009 and held in solitary confinement for two months prior to being released on bail. In the name of God the Merciful,

“When Allah made a covenant with those who were given the Book: ‘You shall explain it for the people and you shall not conceal it,’ they cast it behind their backs and sold it for a paltry gain. How evil is what they buy!” (Surah Aal-e-Imran 3:187)

More than a year has passed since the house arrest of the innocent and oppressed leaders of the Green movement. During this time the political pressure and oppression has increased to such a degree that even the cries for justices by freedom seeking Iranian patriots have been suppressed with threats, incarceration, beatings and harsh and unfair prison sentences by the judiciary. Alas, throughout it all he who is responsible for all the oppression has sat idly while the rights of a nation protected under the Constitution , a constitution that embodies the ideals of the Islamic Revolution of February 1979 and is based on the fortitude and courage of a brave and oppressed nation and the martyrs of our land have been ignored. He [who is responsible] seeks to deprive our nation of their sovereign rights to such a degree that today the idea of freedom of thought and expression and any form of political activity has been criminalized, resulting in heavy, unfair and unjust sentences designed to limit any form of activity and silence an entire nation. 

To this end, I Mohmmad Reza Motamednia, one of the sons of the Islamic Revolution of our beloved land, in objection to all this cruelty and cowardice and undue pressure on the memory of the martyrs of the Islamic Republic, vow to stand true to the religious and cultural beliefs of our nation, launching a hunger strike on Monday April 9th 2012, placing myself in the hands of God,  until such time that the former prime minister to the Imam Khomeini, Mir Hossein Mousavi’s house arrest has been lifted and this beloved and honorable son of the Islamic Revolution, Ario Barzan, Sattar Khan, Bagher Khan, and other historically renowned martyrs such as Hemat and Bakeri, his wife Zahra Rahnavard and Mehdi Karroubi have been released.

During the next 45 days, in the event that my demands are not met,  I will only consume water from sunset until early morning prayer.

این زندانی سیاسی بهمن ماه سال گذشته نیز دست به اعتصاب غذای تر زده بود که پس از موافقت با خواسته هایش به اعتصاب غذا پایان داد.

آن زمان دادستان تهران طی نامه ای دستور موافقت و اجرایی شدن خواسته های این زندانی سیاسی را صادر کرده بود.

بسم الله الرحمن الرحیم

وَإِذَ أَخَذَ اللّهُ مِیثَاقَ الَّذِینَ أُوتُواْ الْکِتَابَ لَتُبَیِّنُنَّهُ لِلنَّاسِ وَلاَ تَکْتُمُونَهُ فَنَبَذُوهُ وَرَاء ظُهُورِهِمْ وَاشْتَرَوْاْ بِهِ ثَمَنًا قَلِیلًا فَبِئْسَ مَا یَشْتَرُونَ (آل عمران ۱۸۷)

خداوند از بندگانش عهد گرفت که در مسیر آگاهی بخشی اهتمام شود و حقایق به بهای مواهب کوتاه و ناچیز دنیوی کتمان نشود و بر آن پرده سکوت کشیده نشود چرا که سکوت و کناره نشینی گناهی عظیم است.

 

اکنون که بیش از یکسال از حبس خانگی رهبران مظلوم جنبش سبز می گذرد و در این مدت فشار سیاسی و اختناق روز افزون شده است به نحوی که هر صدای حق طلبانه که از گلوی هر ایرانی وطن پرست و آزادی خواهی بر آید با تهدید و حبس و ضرب و شتم و احکام قضایی سنگین و ناعادلانه سرکوب می شود و متاسفانه جناج سرکوبگر بی اعتنا به حقوق حقه ملت، مندرج در قانون اساسی وقعی ننهاده و شیوه ای که در انقلاب اسلامی در بهمن ۵۷ با پایمردی و رشادت مردم شجاع و مظلوم و شهدای این مرز و بوم تثبیت شد، قصد سلب حق حاکمیت ملت و آزادی های مشروع آنان را دارد به گونه ای که امروز ابراز آزادانه افکار و برخوردار دانستن از حق فعالیت آزاد سیاسی جرم تلقی شده است و احکام سنگین و نابحق و ناجوانمردانه ای که به جهت این محدود سازی ها و جرم تراشی های ساختگی صادر شده است، این جانب که خود را یکی از فرزندان این مرز و بوم و انقلاب اسلامی مردم شریف کشور می دانم و در اعتراض به همه این ظلم ها و نامردی ها و اعمال فشار نا به جا و نا عادلانه و به پاس حرمت خون همه شهدای انقلاب اسلامی و به پاس احترام به تمامی باورهای اعتقادی و ملی مان، تا رفع کامل حصر خانگی نخست وزیر امام، این فرزند برومند انقلاب اسلامی و وارث آرش، آریو برزن، ستارخان، باقر خان، شهید باکری و شهید همت و سایر رادمردان تاریخ ایران بزرگ سردار آزادی خواه نسل حاضر جناب مهندس موسوی و همسر مبارز و اندیشمندش سرکار خانم دکتر زهرا رهنورد و جناب حجت الاسلام و المسلمین کروبی با یاری ایزد منان از روز دوشنبه ۹۱/۱/۲۱ اعتصاب غذای (اعتصاب تر) خود را اعلام می نمایم و در این راه فقط و فقط به خداوند بزرگ توکل خواهم داشت.

اگر چنانچه در ظرف ۴۵ روز آینده خواسته هایم برآورده نشود فقط با آب آن هم فقط ما بین اذان مغرب تا اذان صبح به اعتصابم ادامه خواهم داد.

BREAKING NEWS – Incarcerated Dissident & Blogger Mehdi Khazali Refuses to Drink Water On the 57th Day of His Hunger Strike

March 5th, 2012  – [Kaleme] Following 57 days of a hunger strike, Mehdi Khazali incarcerated reformist, war veteran, blogger and vocal critic of the ruling government launches a dry hunger strike protesting the lack of responsibility by the authorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran

According to reports by Kaleme, Khazali was transferred to solitary confinement in Evin prison’s security ward 209 [under the supervision of the Intelligence Ministry] 8 days ago.  He was taken to court yesterday and in protest to the continuedlawlessness and violent behavior of the Ministry of Intelligence prison guards, Khazali decided to launch a dry hunger strike stating that he will refuse to drink any water until his civil and legal rights have been reinstated.

Previously, Dr. Khazali was taken to Taleghani hospital after suffering a heart attack at Evin, then transferred after one day to Bani Hashem hospital under the supervision of the Ministry of Intelligence and shortly after transferred back to Evin prison despite his dire physical condition and against the recommendation of the hospital physicians and staff.

In his web blog, Dr. Khazali described his hunger strike as a last resort of an innocent man who has no one to turn to and whose cries have been ignored.  Khazali also stated that he had asked the permission of 4 Grand Ayatollahs before launching his hunger strike.

It is worth mentioning that Khazali was violently arrested on January 9th, 2012 and launched his hunger strike on the first day of his incarceration, protesting the violent behavior of security agents during his arrest and the lawlessness of the Judiciary in Iran.

چکیده :مهدی خزعلی که از هشت روز پیش به سلول انفرادی در بند امنیتی 209 زندان اوین منتقل شده بود در اعتراض به رفتارهای خشن زندانبانان وزارت اطلاعات دست به اعتصاب خشک زده و اعلام کرده است تا احیای آیین دادرسی مدنی و حقوق از دست رفته لب به آب هم نخواهد زد …

مهدی خزعلی، رزمنده دوران دفاع مقدس و نویسنده منتقد، پس از ۵۷ روز اعتصاب غذا و تداوم بی توجهی مسئولان، دست به اعتصاب غذای خشک زد.

به گزارش کلمه، مهدی خزعلی که از هشت روز پیش به سلول انفرادی در بند امنیتی ۲۰۹ زندان اوین منتقل شده بود روز گذشته که برای مطالعه حکم خود به دادگاه منتقل شده بود در اعتراض به تداوم بی قانونی ها و رفتارهای خشن زندانبانان وزارت اطلاعات دست به اعتصاب خشک زده و اعلام کرده است تا احیای آیین دادرسی مدنی و حقوق از دست رفته از این پس لب به آب هم نخواهد زد.

پیش تر مهدی خزعلی بر اثر حمله قلبی به بیمارستان طالقانی منتقل شده بود که پس از یک روز توسط نیروهای امنیتی به بیمارستان بنی هاشم زیر نظر وزارت اطلاعات منتقل شده و پیش از بهبودی به زندان اوین بازگردانده شده بود.

مهدی خزعلی در متنی در وبلاگ خود اعتصاب غذا را آخرین سلاح مظلوم دانسته بود در زمانی که پناهی ندارد و فریادش به جایی نمیرسد و گفته بود که برای اعتصاب غذای خود از ۴ مرجع تقلید اذن گرفته است.

این نویسنده منتقد که در تاریخ توسط نیروهای امنیتی همراه با خشونت دستگیر شد در اعتراض به رفتار خشونت آمیز نیروهای امنیتی در هنگام بازداشت و رفتارهای غیرقانونی سیستم قضایی از همان روز اول، دست به اعتصاب غذا زد.

Incarcerated Reformist Mostafa Tajzadeh’s Daughter and Son-in-Law Summoned to Appear At Evin Court

February 25th, 2012 – According to reports by Norooz, incarcerated reformist Mostafa Tajzadeh’s daughter Arefeh Tazjadeh and his son-in-law Ali Tabatabai, received a notice to appear at Evin’s Shahid Moghaddas court in the next 20 days.  Although they both currently reside abroad, the summon also stated that they have been banned from traveling and leaving the country.

Tajzadeh himself recently eluded to the fact that he is expecting a new “gift” of sorts from the Supreme Leader to his family.

Tajzadeh was illegally arrested on the direct orders of Mojtaba Khamenei and has spent the past 18 months in quarantine at Evin prison in conditions no different than solitary confinement.  He was recently denied visitation rights with his close family members (including his one daughter who lives in Iran) at the orders of the prosecutor’s deputy of security and is currently only allowed to meet with his wife once a week from behind a cabin window.

It is worth mentioning that Mostafa Tajzadeh’s physical condition is far from ideal as a result of the daily fast he launched after his illegal arrest and incarceration.

احضار و ممنوع الخروجی دختر و داماد سید مصطفی تاجزاده

دختر و داماد سید مصطفی تاج زاده ممنوع الخروج شدند.

به گزارش نوروز، در ادامه فشارها به خانواده این زندانی سیاسی هفته گذشته احضاریه ای برای عارفه تاجزاده و علی طباطبایی ارسال شد که در آن از آنها خواسته شده است تا ظرف بیست روز و به عنوان متهم در دادسرای شهید مقدس زندان اوین حاضر شوند.

همچنین در این احضاریه که نسخه ای از آن در اختیار سایت نوروز قرار گرفته است قرار ممنوع الخروجی فرزند و داماد تاجزاده هم ابلاغ شده است. صدور قرار ممنوع الخروجی برای این دو در حالی صورت گرفته است که آنها در حال حاضر در خارج از کشور به سر می برند.

تاجزاده پیش از این در پیامی عنوان کرده بود در انتظار هدیه ای جدید از سوی بیت رهبری برای خانواده اش می باشد.

 

این زندانی سیاسی که به درخواست مستقیم مجتبی خامنه ای بیش از هجده ماه است بصورت غیرقانونی در بند قرنطینه و در شرایط ایزوله و انفرادی نگهداری می شود اخیرا به دستور رشته احمدی معاون امنیتی دادستان  از ملاقات با بستگان درجه یک خود نیز محروم شده و تنها می تواند هفته ای یکبار با همسرش ملاقات کابینی داشته باشد و از ملاقات با دیگر دختر خود نیز محروم است. این در حالی است که وی همچنان به روزه های اعتراضی خود ادامه داده و در شرایط نامناسب جسمانی بسر می برد

BREAKING NEWS – Human Rights Activist Kouhyar Goudarzi Sentenced to 6 Years in Prison

February 25th, 2012 – [CHRR] Seven months after his arrest, Kouhyar Goudarzi, human rights activist and member of the Committee of Human Rights Reports was sentenced to 6 years in prison by the 26th branch of the Revolutionary Court presided under by Judge Pir Abassi.   Ghoudarzi was charged with “propaganda against the regime” and “assembly and collusion against the regime”.

Kouhyar Goudarzi was arrested a second time on July 31st, 2011. Following his arrest he was kept in solitary confinement for 60 days. His whereabouts were unknown for three months after his arrest.  His family believes that he continues to be held in Evin’s security ward 209 [a ward under the supervision of the Ministry of Intelligence] and security authorities continue to prohibit his transfer to the general ward at Evin.

It is worth mentioning that Goudarzi is being kept at Evin’s security ward 209 despite the fact that his interrogation process has been completed and as stipulated under the law, he should be transferred to Evin’s general ward 350.  Goudarzi has now spent 7 months at the security ward 209.

Parvin Mokhtareh, Kouhyar Goudarzi’s mother arrested in the city of Kerman one day after her son’s arrest was also sentenced to 23 months in prison.  Her sentence was later reduced to a suspended imprisonment by the appeals court. However, as a result of another case against Mokhtareh at the 104th branch of Kerman’s General Court, the Judge presiding over her case has refused to release her from prison.

محکومیت کوهیار گودرزی به 6 سال حبس تعزیری

کوهیار گودرزی، فعال حقوق بشر و عضو کمیته گزارشگران حقوق بشر، از سوی شعبه 26 دادگاه انقلاب تهران به ریاست قاضی پیرعباسی به تحمل 6 سال حبس تعزیری محکوم شد.

گودرزی در دادگاه به اتهامات ” تبلیغ علیه نظام” و ” اجتماع و تبانی علیه نظام” مورد محکومیت قرار گرفته است.

کوهیار گودرزی که در تاریخ 9 مردادماه بازداشت شده بود، بیش از 60 روز در سلول انفرادی نگه‌داری شد و به مدت سه ماه از محل بازداشت او اطلاعی در دست نبود. به گفته خانواده این فعال حقوق بشر، وی همچنان در بند امنیتی 209 به سر می‌برد و مسئولان امنیتی از انتقال او به بند عموم خودداری می‌کنند.

ادامه نگه‌داری کوهیار گودرزی در بند امنیتی 209 در شرایطی صورت می‌گیرد که وی دوران بازجویی خود را پشت سر گذاشته و طبق قانون، می‌بایست به بند عمومی منتقل شود.

گودرزی هم‌اکنون هفتمین ماه بازداشت خود را در بازداشت‌گاه 209 سپری می‌کند.

هم‌چنین پروین مخترع، مادر وی نیز که یک روز پس از بازداشت کوهیار، در کرمان دستگیر شده و از سوی دادگاه به تحمل 23 ماه حبس تعزیری محکوم شده بود، در دادگاه تجدیدنظر به حبس تعلیقی محکوم شد. با این وجود به علت داشتن پرونده دیگری در شعبه 104 دادگاه عمومی کرمان، قاضی از آزادی وی خودداری کرده است.

به گفته وکیل پروین مخترع، دادگاه دیگر او با اتهام ” توهین به شهدا و رهبری” قرار است روز 7 اسفندماه برگزار شود و در صورت صدور حکم برائت، وی از زندان آزاد خواهد شد.

پروین مخترع هم‌اکنون در بند عمومی زندان کرمان نگه‌داری می‌شود

Mehdi Khazali to Prison Authorities:”In the Event of my Death, I Ask That My Autopsy Be Performed by an International Entity”

February 22nd, 2012 [Kaleme]  In a letter addressed to prison authorities at Evin prison, Dr. Mehdi Khazali has announced that in the event that he dies while in prison and as a result of his hunger strike any autopsy or forensic examination take place only at the hand of medical examiners associated with International Organizations.

In this letter, Dr. Khazli reportedly points to the martyrdom of Hoda Saber while at Evin and the autopsy that took place at the time. Hoda Saber, journalist and political activist arrested after the 2009 presidential elections died at Evin prison after he launched a hunger strike protesting the martyrdom of Haleh Sahabi.  The day before he died, security agents finally transferred Saber to Modares Hospital after he suffered a stroke. Saber died because he did not receive adequate and timely medical attention.

At the time, 64 political prisoners at Evin wrote a letter bearing witness to the fact that martyr Hoda Saber was transferred to Evin’s infirmary on the 8th day of his hunger strike, by individuals who were either security agents or agents of the Ministry of Intelligence. Furthermore, the aforementioned prisoners testified that while at the infirmary, Saber was beaten severely.

The doctors at Modares hospital believe that Hoda Saber died as a result of his hunger strike and negligence by prison officials at Evin who refused to transfer him to a hospital in a timely manner.  It goes without saying that the judicial authorities including the Attorney General have never launched an inquiry into Hoda Saber’s death.

چکیده :مهدی خزعلی با نگارش نامه ای به مسئولان زندان اوین اعلام کرده است، درصورت جان باختنش در ادامه اعتصاب غذا، کالبد شکافی و معاینات پزشکی قانونی زندان را قبول ندارد و جسدش تنها باید توسط پزشکان اعزامی از سوی مجامع بین المللی، کالبد شکافی گردد. …

 

مهدی خزعلی گفته است در صورت جان باختن من مقامات پزشکی سازمان ملل مرا کالبد شکافی کنند.

به گزارش خبرنگار کلمه، مهدی خزعلی با نگارش نامه ای به مسئولان زندان اوین اعلام کرده است، درصورت جان باختنش در ادامه اعتصاب غذا، کالبد شکافی و معاینات پزشکی قانونی زندان را قبول ندارد و جسدش تنها باید توسط پزشکان اعزامی از سوی مجامع بین المللی، کالبد شکافی گردد.

 

وی در این نامه به جریان شهادت هدی صابر و کالبد شکافی وی نیز اشاره کرد.

رضا هدی صابر روزنامه نگار و فعال سیاسی که از زندانیان پس از انتخابات بود خردادماه سال جاری و در پی اعتصاب غذا در اعتراض به شهادت هاله سحابی  و حمله قلبی درگذشت.

 

ماموران یک روز پیش از شهادت وی را به دلیل عارضه قلبی ناشی از اعتصاب غذا از زندان اوین به بیمارستان مدرس منتقل می کنند، اما سنگینی آسیب‌ قلبی چنان بوده که وی تحمل این آسیب را نداشته و جان باخت.

 

۶۴ زندانی سیاسی بند ۳۵۰ زندان اوین همان زمان با ارسال شهادت نامه ای، شهادت دادند که شهید هدی صابر در هشتمین روز اعتصاب غذای خود در بهداری زندان اوین از سوی مامورانی که حدس می زنند ماموران امنیتی و اطلاعاتی بوده اند، به شدت مورد ضرب و شتم قرار گرفته است. آنها شرایط بد جسمانی وی را از نزدیک شاهد بوده اند.

 

پزشکان بیمارستان مدرس معتقدند علت مرگ وی علاوه بر اعتصاب غذا سهل انگاری مقامات زندان در انتقال به موقع به بیمارستان بوده است. اما مقامات قضایی کشور از جمله دادستان کل کشور هموار هیچ گاه به این موضوع نپرداختند

What would you do if after much preparation, you took your two young children to visit their mother behind bars (a mother who has been incarcerated without a reason for 18 months and has not been granted a moment of furlough from prison) only to find that your 12 year old daughter who attended dressed i…n her school uniform, a dress code that is without a doubt acceptable in Iran, is denied visitation along with her brother because the prison guard claims that her dress code is not in accordance with Islamic code? What would you do when your young daughter and her 4 year old brother both so young and sensitive are forced to spend thirty minutes in the extreme cold outside of Evin prison? What would you do…..?

اگر 2 تا بچه را پس از كلي وقت و انرژي ببريد دادسرا تا دقايقي با مادرشان (كه 18 ماه است بدون دليل محكمه پسند در بازداشت است بدون يك ساعت مرخصي) از نزديك ملاقات كنند، اما دختر بچه را كه 12 سال دارد و با لباس مدرسه كه بي ترديد حجاب قابل قبولي در ايران هست به همراه برادر 4 ساله‌اش از نگهباني به خاطر بد بودن حجاب، بيرون كنند و آنها بيشتر از نيم ساعت در سرماي طاقت‌فرساي كوهپايه‌ي اوين سرگردان بمانند، در مقابل ناراحتي و گريه‌ي اين بچه در اين سن و سال حساس و فشاري كه بر شما و كودكان‌تان وارد مي‌شود چكار مي‌كنيد

10 Detainees Arrested on the 25th of Bahman, Launch A Hunger Strike

February 20th, 2012 – Mihan reports that the following 10 individuals arrested during the silent protests that took place on the 25th of Bahman [Feb 14th, 2012] have launched a hunger strike at Evin prison, protesting their detention:

2. Gholam Hossein Ghasemi

3. Ali Azad

4. Toufan Hatefi

5. Massoud Karami

6. Hamed Aslani

7. Mohsen Moradi

8. Mohammad Ali Abdeli

9. Gholam Hossein Azari Najaf Abadi

10. Ali Shekarchi

It has been reported that the aforementioned detainees are being held at Evin’s ward 7 reserved for criminals and prisoners who have not committed political crimes. To this end, they have launched a hunger strike protesting their detention and the lack of attention to their complaints.

According to the same reports, Ali Shekarchi began a hunger strike 3 days ago protesting their inability to make phone calls and the behavior by the non-political prisoners. Following the launch of his hunger strike, prison officials at Evin transferred Shekarchi to solitary confinement and as a result the 9 other detainees at Evin’s ward 7 joined Shekarchi in a hunger strike.

It has been reported that Massoud Kerami, one of the 10 detainees has both Norwegian and Iranian citizenship.

In addition to the 10 names published by the Human Rights House of Iran, The Human Rights Activist of Iran News Agency has also published the names of Farshad Ajideh and Pejman Zafarmand as having been detained on the 25th of Bahman and later temporarily released on bail.

It is worth mentioning that the Coordination Council for the Green Path of Hope recently published a statement calling upon the nation of Iran to participate in a silent rally on the anniversary of the illegal house arrest of opposition leaders Mir Hossein Mousavi, Mehdi Karroubi and Zahra Rahnavard.

As a result of this calling there was heavy presence of security and anti riot police forces across the streets in Tehran and a number of other provinces. A number of participants were reportedly arrested. The exact number of detainees has not yet been determined.

اعتصاب غذای ۱۰تن از بازداشت ‌شدگان ۲۵بهمن‌‌ماه امسال ۱ اسفند ۱۳۹۰ |

چاپ چاپ میهن – محمد صادقی: منابع حقوق بشری در ایران از اعتصاب غذای ۱۰ تن ازبازداشت ‌شدگان تظاهرات ۲۵ بهمن‌ ماه امسال در اعتراض به وضعیت نگهداری خود در زندان اوین خبر داده اند. به گزارش تارنمای “خانه حقوق بشر ایران” ۱۰ نفر از بازداشت‌ شدگان اعتراضات روز ۲۵ بهمن ۹۰ که به زندان اوین منتقل شده بودند در اعتراض به وضعیت خود دست به اعتصاب غذا زده‌ اند. حمید عابدینی، غلامحسین قاسمی، علی آزاد، توفان هاتفی، مسعود کرمی، حامد اصلانی، محسن مرادی، محمدعلی عبدلی، غلام‌حسین آذری نجف ‌آبادی و علی شکرچی اسامی این ده زندانی سیاسی است که در این گزارش به آن اشاره شده است. گفته شده است که این افراد در اندرزگاه هفت زندان اوین در میان زندانیانی با جرائم غیرسیاسی و جنایی نگهداری می‌ شوند و همین موضوع با اعتراض این افراد همراه شده و به دنبال عدم رسیدگی به اعتراضات صورت گرفته در خصوص وضعیت نگهداری خود در زندان، دست به اعتصاب غذا زدند. بنا به این گزارش علی شکرچی، به‌ خاطر رفتار مجرمان غیرسیاسی اندرزگاه هفت و عدم اجازه‌ آن ‌ها برای برقراری تماس تلفنی از سه روز پیش دست به اعتصاب غذا زده است. مسئولان زندان اوین پس از آغاز اعتصاب غذا این زندانی، وی را به سلول‌ های انفرادی این زندان منتقل کرده و پس از آن، ۹ بازداشتی دیگر روز ۲۵ بهمن که در اندرزگاه هفت به سر می برند نیز دست به اعتصاب غذا زده ‌اند. در این گزارش آمده است که مسعود کرمی، یکی از ۱۰ نفر زندانی اعتصابی شهروندی نروژی ـ ایرانی است. منابع دیگر حقوبق بشری نیز در گزارش های جداگانه از حضور این زندانیان در اندرزگاه هفت زندان اوین خبر داده اند. خبرگزاری مجموعه فعالان حقوق بشر ایران، افزون بر نام ‌هایی که خانه حقوق بشر ایران منتشر کرده، نام فرشاد اژیده و پژمان ظفرمند را نیز آورده و نوشته است این دو با سپردن قرار وثیقه و یا کفالت از زندان اوین به‌ طور موقت از زندان آزاد شدند. شورای هماهنگی راه سبز امید تشکیلات نزدیک به رهبران جنبش سبز ایران، چندی پیش طی فراخوانی از مردم خواسته بود که در سالگرد بازداشت خانگی میرحسین موسوی، زهرا رهنورد و مهدی کروبی، سه تن از رهبران مخالفان حکومت، روز ۲۵ بهمن ‌ماه در راهپیمایی سکوت شرکت کنند. روز ۲۵ بهمن نیروهای امنیتی و گارد ویژه به‌ صورت گسترده ‌ای در خیابان‌ های تهران و برخی از شهرستان‌ ها حضور یافتند و عده ‌ای که از تعداد دقیق آن ها خبری در دست نیست از سوی ماموران امنیتی و نظامی بازداشت شدند
