A Message From the Coordination Council on the Occasion of the Birth of Jesus Christ, the Messenger of Peace & Friendship

In the name God the kind and merciful,

We would like to take this time to extend a warm greeting and congratulate all followers of Jesus Christ, the messenger of peace and friendship and in particular all of our Christian compatriots, on the occasion of his birth.

In the eyes of religious monks and men of God, the birth of Jesus Christ is reminiscent of the long journey they have taken, dedicating their lives to fighting evil in the quest to free humanity of injustice, violence, lies and deception, with the goal to spread peace, friendship and kindness across the globe.

During these holy days, we wish upon all citizens of the world and in particular our free spirited and patriotic compatriots, regardless of their religious beliefs, a life filled with compassion, tolerance and peace.

The Coordination Council for the Green Path of Hope is of the opinion that the ethnic and religious minorities in our country are not afforded the same fair and equitable rights as all other citizens of our great land. There are many obstacles that stand in the way of ethnic and religious minorities realizing their dreams to live a normal and healthy life. Many of these challenges are rooted in the policies of the illegitimate, authoritarian and inefficient ruling government of Iran. The citizens of Iran, regardless of their religion, ethnicity, gender and political affiliation, deserve to live in an environment that is free, fair and secure.  Our citizens have a right to sovereignty and demanding that their legal rights be upheld and the ruling government should be held accountable for upholding these rights and performing their legal duties. Any deviation by the ruling government of its responsibilities towards the nation is open without a doubt to criticism and punishable under the law.

During these holy days, we call upon all free spirited and informed Iranians and in particular our Christian friends to show compassion towards and  pray for the release of all Iranian prisoners whose only crime has been to to dedicate their lives to the goal of achieving stability and improved economic, political and social conditions in Iran. We are hopeful that by eliminating the morally reprehensible effects of tyranny in the near future, Iran will once again transform into a symbol of peaceful coexistence between individuals with varying opinions and beliefs, allowing citizens with different religious, cultural and ethnic backgrounds to interact in a peaceful and reasonable manner and to promote our blessed land to the world at large based on our national interests.

پیام شورای هماهنگی راه سبز امید

 

به مناسب میلاد پیام آور صلح و دوستی، عیسی مسیح

 

به نام خداوند مهربان

 

فرارسیدن خجسته سالروز میلاد عیسی مسیح، فرصتی است برای عرض تبریک و تهنیت به همه‌ی موحدان و پیروان آن پیام‌آور دوستی و صلح، و بویژه هموطنان مسیحی.

 

تولد عیسی مسیح برای همه‌ی رهروان ادیان الهی، یادآور فرازی دیگر در تاریخ بلند کاروان مصلحانی است که زندگی خود را وقف مبارزه با پلیدی ها و پلشتی ها و رهایی انسان از ظلم و خشونت و دروغ و تزویر، و گسترش صلح و دوستی و محبت در پهنه‌ی گیتی کرده و می کنند.

 

در این روزهای گرامی، برای همه‌‌ی مردم جهان، به‌ویژه هموطنان آزاده و آگاه و وطن‌دوست، با هر باور و ایمان دینی، روزهایی مملو از مدارا و محبت و همدلی و صلح آرزو می‌کنیم.

 

شورای هماهنگی راه سبز امید بر این باور است که اقوام و اقلیت‌های مذهبی در کشور ما در شرایط منصفانه و آزادانه و مطلوبی به‌سر نمی‌برند. تنگناهای پرشمار و موانع گوناگونی در راه تحقق مطلوب‌ها و آرزوهای آنان برای داشتن زندگی سالم و سعادت‌بار موجود است. مشکلات و تضییقات فراوانی که در سیاست های حاکمیت اقتدارگرا و اقدامات دولت نامشروع و ناکارآمد و بی‌کفایت، ریشه دارد. شهروندان ایران‌زمین، صرف‌نظر از دین، قومیت، جنسیت و باورهای سیاسی‌شان، مستحق زندگی در سایه‌ی عدالت و امنیت و آزادی‌اند. آنان محق‌اند که بر اساس ویژگی‌های هویتی خویش زندگی کنند. حاکمیت و صاحبان قدرت نیز ملزم به ادای این حقوق و انجام تکالیف قانونی خویش اند. هرگونه عدول از این وظایف، البته در خور نقد و مواخذه است.

 

از تمامی ایرانیان آزاده و آگاه، و به‌ویژه هموطنان مسیحی می خواهیم در این روز ارجمند و مبارک، برای آزادی همه زندانیانی که تنها جرمشان تلاش در راه اصلاح و بهبود اوضاع  سیاسی و اجتماعی و اقتصادی ایران بوده، همدلی و کوشش و دعا کنند. امیدواریم با رفع جلوه های زشت استبداد، در آینده ای نه چندان دور، ایران بار دیگر سمبل همزیستی مسالمت آمیز باورها و عقاید گوناگون شود و پیروان ادیان و مذاهب گوناگون و هویت های فرهنگی و قومیتی، با اجماع بر منافع ملی و تعامل صلح آمیز و معقول با جهان پیرامون خود، راه اعتلای این سرزمین اهورایی را هموار سازند.

December 6th, 2011 – [Mohammad Hosseini Karroubi] It was Saturday afternoon, when mother called to inform me that security forces would be bringing father to his personal house and that we would have an opportunity to see him. Upon hearing her message, I rushed to our home, thrilled at the opportunity to see father for a half hour visit.  Father seemed a little more cheerful and looked healthier than the last time I had seen him.  It was clear that the conditions of his house arrest had improved since those earlier days when he was being held in a small one bedroom apartment along with numerous security agents.  Father explained that they have now given him exclusive access to a portion of an apartment and security guards are stationed on another floor. He also informed me that for the past two weeks he has been allowed to read “Jame-Jam” and “Etelaat” newspapers and unlike the past he has also been allowed daily access to fresh air.

Father described how the previous night, before morning prayers [azan] he had dreamed about his parents and talked to them in his dream.  At 9:00am the next morning, security agents reportedly approached father, asked him to get ready and took him to Beheshte Zahra cemetery so he could visit his parents’ grave site and the grave site of his recently deceased sister and mother of a martyr. The security agents also informed father that they would be taking him to see the new house the family had recently bought for him in Jamaran, leading to our brief half hour visit with him.

Although three visits in ten months of house arrest is insignificant, we are nevertheless grateful for any visit with father, no matter how short or rare.  It goes without saying that being separated from father saddens me greatly, but I am honored and happy to know that after the experience of such a house arrest, father’s name is now etched along side such great clergymen including martyr Modares and our mentor Ayatollah Montazeri, who never dishonored their names. On the other hand I am saddened to see that opportunist clergymen such as Sheikh Mohammad Yazdi in their haste for power and their portion of the country’s wealth in the little time they have left in life, opportunistically succumb to the ruling government’s injustices and in doing so greatly damage the reputation of all clergymen.

سومین ملاقات در دهمین ماه حصر

 

 

شنبه بعدازظهر با تلفن مادرم مطلع شدم که امکانی برای دیدار پدر مهیا شده است و قرار است ایشان را تحت‌الحفظ به خانه شخصی‌شان بیاورند. به سرعت خود را به خانه رساندم و امکان دید و بازدید و گفتگویی برای نیم ساعت مهیا شد. پدر را کمی بشاش‌تر و سلامت‌تر از قبل یافتم، مشخص بود که اوضاع حصر او به نسبت ماه‌هایی که در آپارتمانی کوچک به همراه ماموران امنیتی در شرایط سخت و دشواری به سر می‌برده، بهتر شده ‌است و همچنانکه خودش نیز توضیح می‌داد اکنون بخشی از یک آپارتمان به صورت مستقل دراختیار اوست و ماموران امنیتی در طبقه دیگری مستقر شده‌اند. می‌گفت نزدیک دو هفته است که روزنامه “جام‌جم” و “اطلاعات” را برای مطالعه دراختیارم می‌گذارند و برخلاف گذشته از امکان هواخوری و قدم زدن هر روز برخوردار شده ام.

 

 

پدرم تعریف کرد که شب گذشته قبل از اذان صبح در خواب پدر و مادرشان را دیده و با آنها گفتگو کرده‌اند. ساعت 9 ماموران امنیتی نزد ایشان آمده و خواسته بودند که آماده شوند تا ایشان را بهشت زهرا ببرند. پس از آن خواب و رویا، اکنون این فرصت برای ایشان مهیا شده بود که سر قبر پدر و مادر و خواهرشان که مادر شهید بودند وبه تازگی فوت کردند حاضرشده و فاتحه‌ای بخوانند. آنچنانکه پدر تعریف می‌کردند، در راه بازگشت، ماموران به ایشان خبر داده‌بودند که قصد دارند ایشان را به منزلی که خانواده به تازگی در جماران خریداری کرده‌اند ببرند و امکان بازدید ایشان از خانه تازه‌شان را فراهم آورند. اینچنین بود که با تماس مادرم ملاقات نیم ساعته ما انجام پذیرفت.

 

اگرچه در ده ماه حصر، سه ملاقات کم است و ناچیز، اما دیدار با پدر هرچند کم و کوتاه بسیار است وغنیمت. اگرچه در حصر بودن پدر و محرومیت از زندگی و همراهی با ایشان برای من ناراحت‌کننده و دلگیرکننده است اما مسرور و خوشحال‌ام از اینکه اکنون با تجربه چنین حصری، نام پدرم درکنار نام نیک روحانیون بزرگوار، همچون شهید مدرس و آیت‌الله العظمی منتظری قرار می‌گیرد که حاضر نشدند نام خود را به ننگ بفروشند و البته ازطرفی دیگرمتاسفانه میبینم روحانی فرصت طلبی همچون شیخ محمد یزدی برای تصاحب قدرت و تصرف اموال بیت‌المال در سالهای کوتاه باقی مانده از زندگی‌شان حاضرند فرصت‌طلبانه مجیزه‌گوی حاکمان شوند و لطمه ای بزرگ به آبروی روحانیت بزنند

Kouhyar Goodarzi’s Mother Sentenced to 23 Months Prison For Defending Her Son’s Rights

December 22nd, 2011 – The Committee of Human Rights Reporters in Iran (CHRR) reports that Parvin Mokhtareh, the mother of incarcerated human rights activists Kouhyar Goudarzi has been sentenced to 23 months prison by the Revolutionary Court in Kerman.  According to her close relatives, despite the fact that the sentence was issued a few days ago, it has not been officially communicated to Mokhtareh as of yet.

Parvin Mokhtareh has been behind bars in the general ward at Kerman prison for approximately 5 months. She was arrested one day after her son, Kouhyar Goudarzi was arrested in his house in Tehran. Following her arrest, Mokhtareh was charged in court with “propaganda against the regime”  and “insulting the martyrs and the Supreme Leader” and now more than three months after she was charged, the courts have finally handed down a verdict.

According to Mokhtareh’s family members, the courts have referred the charges of “insulting the Supreme Leader” to the justice department in Kerman province so she can be retried on this particular charge.

This heavy sentence by the Revolutionary Court against Mokhtareh was in response to the interviews she gave to media outlets regarding the illegal manner in which her son Kouhyar had been arrested and incarcerated. This is an unprecedented sentence even for the  Revolutionary Courts, who had to date never sentenced a mother for defending the rights of her child.

According to accounts by her family members, Mokhtareh has endured difficult prison conditions while at Kerman prison.  Amongst other hardships, prisoners at Kerman prison no access to fruit, vegetables and other food items.

It is worth mentioning that a few weeks ago, the judge presiding over her case sent a message to Mokhtareh requesting that she write a confession letter expressing regret for the actions she had taken on behalf of her son. It goes without saying that Mokhtareh refused to write such a confession letter, defending her right to stand up for her son’s legal rights.

Mokhtareh has also been deprived of a lawyer during her entire trial.  She was reportedly told by security officials that she has no need for legal council and a defense team.

Mokhtareh’s son, human rights activist Kouhyar Goudarzi also remains behind bars. Despite the fact that 5 months have passed since his sudden arrest and incarceration, Goudarzi remains in a state of limbo at Evin’s ward 209.  Goudarzi was recently charged with “propaganda against the regime” and “gathering and conspiring against the regime” and awaits trial while behind bars.

پروین مخترع به 23 ماه حبس تعزیری محکوم شد

کمیته گزارشگران حقوق بشر-

پروین مخترع، مادر کوهیار گودرزی، فعال حقوق بشر، از سوی دادگاه انقلاب کرمان به تحمل 23 ماه حبس تعزیری محکوم شد. به گفته نزدیکان وی، این حکم در روزهای گذشته صادر شده با این حال، هنوز به پروین مخترع ابلاغ نشده است.

 

 

پروین مخترع که حدود 5 ماه است در بند عمومی زندان کرمان به سر می‌برد، یک روز پس از بازداشت کوهیار گودرزی، در منزلش در کرمان بازداشت شد. وی پس از بازداشت، به اتهام ” تبلیغ علیه نظام” ” توهین به شهدا و رهبری” در دادگاه مورد محاکمه قرار گرفت و هم‌اکنون پس از گذشت بیش از سه ماه حکم محکومیت خود را دریافت کرده است.

 

به گفته خانواده مخترع، دادگاه هم‌چنین پرونده دیگر وی با اتهام ” توهین به مقام رهبری” را به دادگستری استان کرمان ارجاع داده است و وی می‌بایست بار دیگر مورد محاکمه قرار گیرد.

 

صدور این حکم سنگین برای پروین مخترع در حالی صورت می‌گیرد که وی تنها به دلیل انجام مصاحبه‌های اعتراضی نسبت به بازداشت غیرقانونی فرزندش، دستگیر و زندانی شد. این حکم، یکی از کم‌سابقه‌ترین احکامی است که در سال‌های گذشته از سوی دادگاه، برای یک مادر، تنها به جرم دفاع از فرزندش، صادر شده است.

 

به گفته خانواده مخترع، وی همچنین در طول مدت زندانی بودن خود با مشکلات بسیاری در زندان کرمان مواجه بوده است. عدم دسترسی به مواد غذایی، میوه و سبزیجات یکی از مشکلات زندانیان در زندان کرمان است که مسئولان زندان نیز با بیان اینکه ” قادر به تامین میوه و سبزیجات نیستیم” از دسترسی زندانیان به مواد خوراکی خودداری می‌کنند.

 

گفتنی است در هفته‌های گذشته، قاضی پرونده با ارسال پیامی برای پروین مخترع، از وی خواسته بود تا با نوشتن ندامت‌نامه، از اعمال خود ابراز پشیمانی کند تا حکم سبک‌تری دریافت کند. با این وجود، پروین مخترع گفته بود که هرگز حاضر به نوشتن ندامت‌نامه نیست و از حق قانونی خود برای دفاع از فرزندش نخواهد گذشت.

 

پروین مخترع، هم‌چنین در جریان محاکمه خود از داشتن وکیل محروم بوده و مأموران امنیتی به وی گفته‌اند که نیازی به حضور وکیل در دادگاه نیست.

 

کوهیار گودرزی نیز با وجود گذشت 5 ماه از زمان بازداشتش هم‌چنان در شرایط بلاتکلیفی و در بند 209 نگه‌داری می‌شود. این فعال حقوق بشر که در هفته‌های گذشته متهم به ” تبلیغ علیه نظام” و ” اجتماع و تبانی علیه نظام” شده بود، در حال حاضر در انتظار تشکیل جلسه دادگاه به سر می‌برد

Opposition Leader Mehdi Karroubi From House Arrest: “They are Trying to Organize a Rigged and Forced Election Process”

December 25th, 2011 – [Saham News]  As we approach the parliamentary elections and the deadline for candidates to register for the elections, Saham News conducted a short interview with Fatemeh Karroubi, the wife of opposition leader Mehdi Karroubi.  The content of the interview is as follows:

Given that the vetting process for parliamentary candidates is about to begin, there has been much discussion regarding whether or not reformist candidates should participate in the upcoming elections. In your meetings with Mr. Karroubi did you have an opportunity to ask Mr. Karroubi, former head of the parliament about his opinion regarding this matter? What can you tell us about his latest condition and circumstances?

As you are aware, Mr Karroubi has been under house arrest for over 300 days.  Thanks to the grace of God and the prayers of our nation, my husband is in good spirits, remains strong and determined, sending his warm felt greetings to all our free spirited compatriots.

In response to the first part of your question regarding the upcoming elections, it goes without saying that Mr. Karroubi has little access to independent news and in particular information regarding the elections.  His only source of news is the [government based] IRIB television station (Seda va Sima) and two other newspapers he has been allowed to read as of late. In my recent visit with him, I informed him that a number of friends and relatives from Tehran and other cities have inquired about his position regarding whether or not reformist candidates should participate in the upcoming elections. My husband responded:

“Given what I have heard regarding the positions of the head of the Guardian Council and the Minister of Intelligence and other officials and in particular with what I have seen on the national television station (IRIB), it looks as though they believe that “those who are” the enemies of the revolution and the regime want to use the elections as a pretext to act against the national security of our country. I infer from the above statements that these gentlemen are fully aware of the continued discontent and anger of our people and as a result seek to organize a rigged and forced election process in which candidates who do not meet their requirements are disqualified and barred from participating. This will  lead to ballot boxes filled with votes that belong to god knows whom. Their goal is to once again arrest, create fear amongst our citizens, impose a heavy security atmosphere and repeat the tragedies that took place during the presidential elections in 2009; a process in which candidates will be approved by the Guardian Council based on their positions regarding the supposed “heads of the sedition” and the groups causing the “diversion”.  It goes without saying  that when the ruling government is reduced to calling the reformists, the Green Movement and protesting citizens the “diversionary group” , their intent is to deceive and I believe that our nation is fully cognizant of these types of tactics.”

Karroubi added: “Even though nothing has happened yet, these gentlemen have already established an electoral campaign to combat election fraud on the orders of the head of the Judiciary. These actions only further prove that these gentlemen have no respect for or belief in the votes of the citizens and have already prepared themselves for a rigged election.”

Karroubi [sarcastically] concluded: “In order to ensure that the reputation of Islam, Islamic scholars and clergy men is not further tarnished and the citizens and political activists sympathetic to the ruling government are not once again harmed, perhaps the few individuals such as Ali Akbar Velayati and Mohsen Rezai who are still acceptable by the establishment (and presented some novel view points during the elections in 2009) should be assigned as spokespersons for Gholam Ali Haddad Adel and Ahmad Khatami (who determined that the humble Mousavi was an Enemy of God) and form an Election Council under the supervision of Ahmad Janati (may he live long).  This Election Council can then appoint representatives that they believe are the true representatives of the nation and in doing so place the ultimate dagger in the corpse of the Islamic Republic, founded in 1979 based on an overwhelming and unprecedented popular vote, so that then, if God willing, our nation finally has an opportunity to implement the provisions in the 1979 Constitution, of course only with amendments that have become necessary over time.”

فاطمه کروبی از آخرین دیدار خود با همسرش می گوید

سحام نیوز: با نزدیک شدن به زمان انتخابات و شروع ثبت‌نام کاندیداها خبرنگار سحام‌نیوز گفتگویی کوتاه اما مهم را با فاطمه کروبی همسر مهدی کروبی انجام داده‌است که در ادامه آن را می‌خوانید.

خبرنگار ما از فاطمه کروبی پرسید که «باتوجه به شروع زمان ثبت نام انتخابات مجلس، بحث‌ها و موضع‌گیری‌های مختلفی درخصوص انتخابات و امکان حضور اصلاح‌طلبان در این انتخابات مطرح شده ‌است؛ آیا شما در دیدارهای هفتگی خود با آقای کروبی به عنوان رئیس سابق مجلس، در این خصوص سؤالی از ایشان پرسیده‌اید و از موضع ایشان اطلاع دارید؟ و اینکه آخرین وضعیت ایشان چگونه است؟

 آقایان هیچ اعتقادی به رای مردم ندارند و از هم اکنون خود را برای برگزاری انتخاباتی فرمایشی آماده می‌کنند

فاطمه کروبی در پاسخ به این پرسش گفت:« همانگونه که در جریان هستید آقای کروبی بیش از ۳۰۰ روز است که در حبس خانگی به سر می برند و ایشان به لطف پروردگار و دعای خیر مردم از نظر روحی شاداب و با عزمی راسخ، همچون کوه استوار است و از صمیم دل سلام به یکایک مردم آزاده ایران می رساند. اما در مورد بخش اول سوال شما در خصوص انتخابات آینده مجلس، آقای کروبی دسترسی آزادی به اطلاعات و اخبار مختلف درخصوص انتخابات ندارند و تنها به صداوسیمای “میلی” و نیز به تازگی به دو روزنامه دسترسی دارند. من در دیدار اخیر خود نیز به ایشان اطلاع دادم که برخی نزدیکان و دوستان از تهران و شهرستان ها مراجعه می‌کنند و نظر جنابعالی را درخصوص شرکت در انتخابات و کاندیداتوری نیروهای اصلاح‌طلب جویا می‌شوند؛ که ایشان در پاسخ به این موضوع نکاتی را با من درمیان گذاشتند.»

 

فاطمه کروبی، نماینده سابق مجلس؛ در ادامه درخصوص دیدگاه‌هایی که مهدی کروبی با ایشان درمیان گذاشته‌ بود گفت:« ایشان به من گفتند “موضع‌گیری‌هایی که از دبیر شورای نگهبان و وزیر اطلاعات و برخی دیگر از مسئولان و مخصوصا صدا و سیما شنیده‌ام حاکی از آن است که به اعتقاد “آنان” دشمنان انقلاب و نظام می‌خواهند از فرصت انتخابات استفاده کنند و امنیت کشور را برهم زنند! من از این دیدگاه‌ها استنباط کردم که آقایان از تداوم قهر و نارضایتی مردم به خوبی مطلع‌اند و می‌خواهند انتخاباتی فرمایشی و دستوری ترتیب دهند و با رد صلاحیت و ابطال برخی حوزه‌ها و پرکردن صندوق‌های رای از رای‌های بدون صاحب، و سپس برخورد و دستگیری و به وجود آوردن رعب و وحشت و امنیتی کردن کشور، پروژه تکراری انتخابات ۸۸ را بار دیگر پیاده کنند و از کاندیداها بخواند که برای دریافت جواز تایید صلاحیت شورای نگهبان، به تعبیر آنان از “سران فتنه” و گروه خودساخته ی “جریان انحرافی” اعلام برائت کنند. ناگفته نماند که چسباندن گروه منتسب به “جریان انحرافی” توسط حکومت به طیف اصلاحات ، جنبش سبز و مردم معترض، سناریوی نخ نما شده ای در این پروژه است. که البته بنده معتقدم مردم بر ماهیت این اقدامات نمایشی به خوبی واقفند.”

آقای کروبی اینها را به من گفتند و افزودند که “هنوز هیچ اتفاقی نیافتاده آقایان ستاد مبارزه با تخلفات انتخاباتی را با حکم رییس قوه قضائیه تشکیل داده‌اند و همه اینها نشان دهنده آن است که آقایان هیچ اعتقادی به رای مردم ندارند و از هم اکنون خود را برای برگزاری انتخاباتی فرمایشی آماده می‌کنند.”

فاطمه کروبی سپس اشاره کرد که آقای کروبی با ذکر این مقدمات در ادامه تاکید کردند:« برای اینکه از این بیشتر آبروی اسلام و روحانیت نرود و مردم و فعالان سیاسی دلسوز نظام، مجددا گرفتار نشوند، بهتر است جمع اندکی که مورد قبول آقایان هستند مانند: علی اکبر ولایتی، محسن رضایی(که در انتخابات ۸۸ نظرات بدیعی داشتند) به سخنگویی حدادعادل و احمد خاتمی(به عنوان حاکم شرع قاطع، که وی، حقیر و آقای موسوی را محارب اعلام کرده بود) ؛ به ریاست احمد جنتی- که عمر او دراز باد- به عنوان شورای عالی انتخابات منصوب شوند و افرادی را به عنوان نماینده ملت انتخاب (منصوب) کنند و تیر آخر را به پیکره جمهوری اسلامی که در سال ۵۸ با رأی قاطع و بی سابقه مردم تصویب و تاسیس شد؛ بزنند تا انشاله مردم در فرصتی مناسب، ارزش های موجود در قانون اساسی سال ۵۸ را، البته با اصلاحاتی که در گذر زمان ضروری می‌نماید؛ احیا کنند
