Nasrin Sotoudeh’s Husband, Children & Sister Detained For Several Hours at Evin Prison

August 7th 2010 – [Kaleme] According to Reza Khandan, Nasrin Sotoudeh’s husband, he and his family (two children and sister-in-law) were detained for a several hours when they arrived to visit Sotoudeh at Evin prison today. Khandan described the events that occurred when his family arrived at Evin as follows on his Facebook page:

“Today August 7th, 2011 the Evin prison authorities not only  prevented us from having a face to face visitation with Nasrin, but also detained the entire family including Nasrin’s sister, keeping us there until the afternoon. “

Khandan described the excuse for this detainment as follows: “They requested to search the family’s personal belongings and we refused, insisting that they present a search warrant from a judge.”

Nasrin Sotoudeh  has been behind bars at Evin prison since her arrest on September 4th, 2010. She was charged with acting against the national security of the country and propaganda against the regime and sentenced to 11 years in prison and  banned from practicing the law and leaving the country for 20 years.

بازداشت چند ساعته همسر، فرزندان و خواهر نسرین ستوده

چکیده :امروز یکشنبه 16 مرداد مسولین زندان اوین نه تنها از ملاقات حضوری بچه‌ها جلوگیری کردند بلکه کل خانواده را به همراه خواهر نسرین ستوده تاعصر بازداشت کردند….

همسر، دو فرزند و خواهر نسرین ستوده وکیل زندانی امروز به مدت چند ساعت بازداشت شدند.

به گزارش کلمه، رضا خندان همسر نسرین ستوده در صفحه فیس بوک خود این خبر را اعلام کرد و با اشاره به وقایعی که امروز در زمان ملاقات با همسرش رخ داد نوشت: امروز یکشنبه ۱۶ مرداد مسولین زندان اوین نه تنها از ملاقات حضوری بچه‌ها جلوگیری کردند بلکه کل خانواده را به همراه خواهر نسرین ستوده تاعصر بازداشت کردند.

وی درباره بهانه این بازداشت گفت: درخواست بازرسی لوازم شخصی خانواده را داشتند که ما با آن مخالف بودیم و خواستار ارئه‌ی حکم قضایی شدیم.

نسرین ستوده از ۱۳ شهریور ۱۳۸۹ در بازداشت است و در دادگاه به جرم “اقدام علیه امنیت ملی، تبانی و تبلیغ علیه نظام و عضویت در کانون مدافعان حقوق بشر” به تحمل ۱۱ سال حبس تعزیری، ۲۰ سال محرومیت از وکالت و ۲۰ سال ممنوعیت خروج از کشور محکوم شده است

Incarcerated Journalist Ahmad Zeidabadi, Returns to Prison After A One Day Extension of His 48 Hour Furlough

August 7th, 2011- [Jaras] Ahmad Zeidabadi incarcerated journalist and Secretary General of the Office of Strengthening Unity (Advar Tahkim Vahdat) returned to Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj after a one day extension of his 48 hour furlough from prison.

Mizahe Khabar had previously reported that Zeidabadi’s 48 hour furlough had been extended after he arrived at Rajai Shahr prison. However, it looks as though the one day extension was only granted because of his late arrival.  In a report published on the facebook site of one of his friends, Zeidabad reportedly bid his family and friends goodbye and returned to Rajai Sahr prison this afternoon

It is worth mentioning that Zeidabadi was sentenced by the Revolutionary Court to 6 years prison and a life time ban from all political and social activism.  He was also banned from membership in any political group, the analysis of current affairs, participation in any events and giving speeches (both oral and written).  His prison sentence was later reduced to 5 years by the appeals cout.

In 2011, Zeidabadi was granted the UNESCO/Guillermo Cano World Press Freedom Award by a delegate of 12 independent, international media experts.

تمدید مرخصی یک روزه ؛ احمدزیدآبادی به زندان بازگشت

جرس:  احمد زید آبادی دبیرکل سازمان دانش آموختگان ایران (ادوار تحکیم وحدت) و روزنامه‌نگار زندانی، امروز یکشنبه به زندان بازگشت.

به گزارش منتشر شده در فیس بوک دوستان این زندانی سیاسی، وی عصر امروز با بدرقه دوستانش راهی زندان رجایی شهر کرج شد.

پیش از این میزان خبر از تمدید مرخصی احمد زیدآبادی خبر داده بود و نوشته بود که بر اساس گزارش ها تمدید مرخصی وی پس از بازگشت به زندان به وی ابلاغ شد. اما بنظر می رسد که این تمدید مرخصی بعلت دیر رسیدن وی به زندان بوده است.

احمدزیدآبادی توسط دادگاه انقلاب به شش سال زندان، پنج سال تبعید و محرومیت مادام العمر از هرگونه فعالیت سیاسی و شرکت در احزاب و هواداری و مصاحبه و سخنرانی و تحلیل حوادث، به صورت کتبی یا شفاهی محکوم کرد، که دادگاه تجدید نظر حکم دادگاه بدوی را مورد تایید قرار داد
