Friday December 31st 2010 – In an interview with RASA, Zahra Rahnavard university professor and wife of Mir Hossein Mousavi stated: “This is one of the most oppressive and violent regimes in the history of our nation. Our people do not fear oppression. Despite the continuous arrests and prison sentences our people not only never hesitated but rather bravely embraced incarceration.”
Rahnavard added: “Based on our experiences from the time of the Islamic Revolution, we realize that street protests alone do not suffice. Theoretical, organizational and intellectual dimensions must be added to our street presence.”
According to Jaras in an interview with RASA, Rahnavard examined the various aspects of Iran’s Democratic Green Movement and said the following regarding the oppressive tactics of the current regime: ” This has been one of the most oppressive and violent governments in the history of our nation.”
While pointing to the large number of incarcerated political prisoners Rahnavard emphasized: “Our people do not fear oppression. Despite the continuous arrests and prison sentences our people not only never hesitated but rather bravely embraced incarceration.”
Rahnavard reiterated that Iran’s Green Democratic Movement is anything but passive, stating that the Green will continue to fight through “fearlessness”, “refusing to be silenced”, “underground resistance”, and even through “smiling at each other in defiance”. Rahnavard added: “We are all together and we will use every symbol and tool at our disposal to demonstrate and preserve our unity.”
Rahnavard stressed: “It is important that every individual find their own path in this democratic movement, but what is most vital regardless of the path we each choose is to ensure that we never remain silent.” Rahnavard continued: ” I believe that a victory easily obtained, is also easily lost. The Islamic Revolution was not an easy victory, but its success was witnessed much sooner than expected. That success however lacked the necessary foundation. As a result we witnessed a decline in the first seven to eight years which has led us to this point thirty years after the revolution.

مردم از سرکوب نمی ترسند و به پیشواز زندان رفتهاند

چکیده : این حاکمیت بسیار سرکوبگر بوده است و یکی از خشنترین چهرههای حاکمیت در ایران را، ما در چهرهی حاکمیت فعلی میبینیم.مردم ما از سرکوب نمیترسند، نمونهاش این همه زندانی کردنها است که هیچکس از آن ابایی ندارد؛ حتی به پیشواز زندان رفتهاند.
دکتر زهرا رهنورد استاد دانشگاه با بیان این که “تجربه انقلاب اسلامی به ما نشان داد که تنها حضور در خیابان کافی نیست” اظهار داشت: جنبههای تئوری، جنبههای تشکیلاتی و جنبههای عقلانی باید به این حضورهای خیابانی افزوده شوند.
به گزارش جرس، رهنورد، در گفتوگو با رسا با بررسی جوانب جنبش دموکراسیخواه مردم ایران، درباره سرکوبهای صورتگرفته از سوی حکومت گفت: این حاکمیت بسیار سرکوبگر بوده است و یکی از خشنترین چهرههای حاکمیت در ایران را، ما در چهرهی حاکمیت فعلی میبینیم.
وی با اشاره به تعداد بالای زندانیان سیاسی تاکید کرد: مردم ما از سرکوب نمیترسند، نمونهاش این همه زندانی کردنها است که هیچکس از آن ابایی ندارد؛ حتی به پیشواز زندان رفتهاند.
رهنورد راههای عدم انفعال جنبش سبز را بیشمار خواند و “نترسیدن”، “هرگز سکوت نکردن”، “مبارزههای زیرزمینی” و حتی “به یکدیگر لبخند زدن” را از جمله این راهها دانست و گفت: ما همه با هم هستیم و با هر نماد و سمبلی میتوانیم این را به هم نشان دهیم و وحدتمان را حفظ کنیم.
وی تاکید کرد: هر کس باید راه خودش را پیدا کند، اما آنچه مهم است این که ما نباید ساکت بمانیم.
رهنورد همچنین اظهار داشت: من معتقدم که پیروزیهای زودرس خیلی زود هم از بین میرود. انقلاب اسلامی یکی از همانها بود که خیلی کار بزرگی بود. اما خیلی زودتر از آنچه انتظار میرفت نتیجه داد. ولی آن پیروزی فاقد زیرساختهای لازم بود و به همین دلیل خیلی زود و در همان هفت- هشت سال اول رو به انحطاط رفت و امروز بعد از سی سال به اینجا رسیدهایم
